Hi, I'm Arbaoui Mehdi. I'm the editor of Depotwebdesigner and Codamaniacs, the Site Manager of both Tutoslinux, and Rabbitemplate. I spend too much time in front of the computer.

Accessify.com started life late 2002 as a need to pull together a number of disparate tools that Ian Lloyd had created, tools which filled in the gaps that HTML authoring packages had at the time. These formed the core of the site – the tools and wizards – and with a news update, Accessify was born.

1 – Accessify

Accessify.com started life late 2002 as a need to pull together a number of disparate tools that Ian Lloyd had created, tools which filled in the gaps that HTML authoring packages had at the time. These formed the core of the site – the tools and wizards – and with a news update, Accessify was born.

Since that time, many of the web authoring tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) have improved their accessibility support, making the tools and wizards on this site less critical, but these tools can still save developers time (for example, the list-o-matic, skipnav builder and markup maker tools). So, what new tools would be useful to have on this site? Perhaps some ARIA tools? Let us know what you think.

2 – CSSCreator

CSSCreator
The layout generated has changed significantly from previous versions. The main reason for change was to simplify the layout and in doing so make it easier to use. It no longer provides fixed width columns with fluid center or full length columns by default.

This generator will create a fluid or fixed width floated column layout, with up to 3 columns and with header and footer. Values can be specified in either pixels, ems or percentages.

3 – CSS Grid Calculator

CSS Grid Calculator
Use the CSS Grid Calculator to quickly visualize page layout and draw grids in a variety of ways. It provides accurate visual feedback on how text blocks and page divisions will appear within a browser window, and returns style declarations for divisions and text to copy and paste into style sheets. The Flash player plugin version 7 is required.
Grids are drawn to page edges and margins when they are set, or to the dimensions of the default page, 1280 pixels wide by 1024 pixels high. The unit of measurement for text is the pixel.

4 – CSS Rounded Box Generator

5 – CSS Compressor

The CSS Compressor makes major changes to stylesheets and is still in developement, so it may not work correctly.
Hacks may cause problems, for best results you should remove them.
